My name is Bhushan Suwal, and this is my blog/personal web page. I like thinking about probability, random walks, and more recently, linear algebra.

Asan Chowk is a square in Kathmandu that is at the intersection of two ancient trade routes between Tibet and India. This resulted in the square becoming a busy marketplace where one could (and still can) find all kinds of wares. I chose this as the name for my blog as a place to put my own various wares (thoughts).
Here is a video of Asan from the 70s that I love.

I took this picture somewhere in Bhaktapur (not Asan!) |
(I have been notified that this site does not render well on mobile. While I would love to, I do not currently have plans to remedy this in the near future, sorry for the experience if you are on mobile!!)
